The Vacancies - Sales Executives
Doulos require well presented, well spoken, professional & friendly office based sales executives with business-to-business service sector sales experience, preferably within a technical environment, to join our established Sales & Marketing Team.
You will communicate with a range of people within the electronics design industry, from engineers to managers, directors and key decision-makers, building continuing relationships, extracting market & account intelligence & ultimately selling our range of training programmes.
You will maintain & develop a range of both new and existing accounts primarily within the UK and Northern Europe, controlling the sales cycle from start to close. This cycle extends over a period of sometimes just a few days or on other occasions a few months. You must enjoy working under pressure in a small, self-motivated sales team environment without the need for constant supervision.
Specifics of the Role:
  • Telephone & email based sales, and sales support activities to penetrate and expand our client base
  • Extraction & recording of sales & account intelligence
  • Customer relationship development and support to account management objectives
  • Provision of timely sales information to sales prospects
  • Dealing with enquiries, composing personal sales correspondence, and issuing quotations
  • Processing of sales, data entry & general administration
  • Day to Day Database maintenance
  • Management reporting and interfacing with Training Operations departments
  • Account Management
  • Ensuring the provision of excellent customer service at all levels!
Candidate Profile
We require confident, customer-orientated individuals with brilliant interpersonal skills. You will need to be highly self motivated, have lots of initiative, a pro-active approach, and a 'can do' attitude.
You should be able to demonstrate the ability to absorb and confidently use technical information within your sales communications. This demands a high standard of written as well as spoken English.
In addition the right candidates will enjoy having lots of personal responsibility, have excellent personal organisation with the ability to prioritise tasks on a daily basis in accordance with Company, Team & individual objectives.
Training, Qualifications and Experience
We provide a structured training & mentoring programme on the Doulos techincal context, training portfolio and office systems.
Preference will be given to candidates with degree level qualifications or equivalent, especially for senior roles within the team.
Demonstrable and proven business to business sales experience, particularly in a technical context, will also be beneficial and may mitigate the level of academic qualification required to some measure; but strong English skills (both oral and written) and an ability to quickly assimilate technical information will be important.
Core Skills

  • Experience with CRM tools or Sales Databases advantageous
