This Solutions Workshop, co-presented by Doulos and Mentor Graphics, presents a technical and practical introduction to the Open Verification Methodology and practical hints and tips on its adoption. It will also outline the latest developments in OVM since the first release at the start of 2008 and its future development direction. The scope and content is therefore suitable for both OVM newbies and for those who have already had exposure.

OVM is a true open source verification methodology standard and was developed by co-operation between Mentor Graphics and Cadence Design Systems. The Solutions Workshops will explore the evolution of OVM, the growing OVM ecosystem and the current status of the OVM libraries. The significant features of OVM will be detailed from a user's perspective and its application will be illustrated in the context of Questa. Finally based on experience of adopting and applying OVM a set of practical adoption tips will be outlined from an independent perspective by Doulos.

Every attendee will receive a workshop booklet containing copies of the presentation slides. In addition, those who pre-register before June 6th are guaranteed a copy of the limited pre-publication edition Doulos OVM Golden Reference Guide when they attend the workshop.

Registration is free and open to exhibition visitors as well as conference delegates. Full conference registration is not required.
