Delivering Ultra Low Power Solutions on the ARM
Cortex-M3

Thursday 12th June, 11:00 - 12:45pm
Presented by Doulos, ARM & Synopsys
Room 201A, Convention Center
Lunch included

GRAND PRIZE DRAW - see below for details.
This Solutions Workshop incorporates a case study based on the industry standard Unified Power Format (UPF) using the Synopsys Eclypse Low Power Solution. Presented by Doulos (an ARM Approved Training Center) in co-operation with Synopsys and ARM, this workshop teaches the 'how to' of power management in a design based on the new ARM Cortex(TM)-M3 architecture.

It focuses particularly on utilization of the new features for low power that distinguish the ARM Cortex-M3 and 45nm ARM Physical IP; and outlines how to exploit, implement and verify these across the design flow using the industry standard Unified Power Format (UPF) and the Synopsys Eclypse Low Power Solution.

The case study presented will illustrate to the designer how a robust multi-tool design flow based on the industry standard Unified Power Format (UPF) and the Synopsys Eclypse Low Power Solution can achieve optimal results in power management.

Solution Workshop Materials

Every attendee will receive a workshop booklet containing copies of the presentation slides.

Grand Prize Draw

ALL Solution Workshop 3 attendees will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win:

GRAND PRIZE - A Nintendo Wii
RUNNER UP PRIZES - win one of 10 copies of the author signed Low Power Methodology Manual

The "Low Power Methodology Manual" (LPMM) is a comprehensive and practical guide to managing power in system-on-chip designs, critical to designers using 90-nanometer and below technology. Attend the workshop for the chance to win your very own copy!

Draw to take place at the end of the Workshop. You must be present to claim your prize.
