Doulos PaceMaker
Overview
PaceMaker is the flexible and interactive way to get up to speed with either VHDL or VerilogŪ. PC based (runs on Windows 98, NT4, 2000 & XP), PaceMaker allows you to learn the essentials of hardware design at your own pace.
If timing or financial constrains rule out the possibility of attending a Doulos course, PaceMaker, although not a substitute, is the most cost effective alternative. Based on our unique Doulos course material, it is equivalent in topic content to an intensive introductory course. Its also a great way to reinforce, refresh or clarify your understanding if you haven't used VHDL for a while. The glossary will lead you online to the topic in question (which you can annotate with your own online notes) and the project tips in the reference guide will help you avoid common pitfalls.
