An essential part of the process for developing applications for embedded Linux systems is debugging. Whether to remove bugs or verify the behaviour of the application within the system, it is vital for developers to know how to debug their code running on a Linux target.

In this webinar we look closely at embedded Linux application debugging, with examples that illustrate the application of tools and techniques that assist in this process (including the ARM DS5 tool suite). Specifically, we investigate common scenarios such as segmentation faults and memory leaks. Finally we review the implications of developing and debugging complex multi-core systems and introduce how to address the specific concerns that arise.
