In the past, software engineers would rarely consider an RTOS for a small embedded MCU due to its code size, overhead or complexity. Today, however, the decision to use an RTOS is made easier by having small ready-to-run kernels available at little or no cost.
In this webinar, we will look at the choices available, their benefits and also their disadvantages to provide some information which will help you in your next design.
The webinar will include a reference to the ThreadX RTOS used in the Renesas Synergy Platform as well as FreeRTOS.
Dr Des Howlett Doulos Senior Member Technical Staff Dr Des Howlett, will be presenting this training webinar, which will consist of a one-hour session and will be interactive with Q&A participation from attendees.
Attendance is free of charge
