This webinar will discuss each of the components required for Linux to work on an embedded system:
We'll review how each of these components fit into the system and what functionality they provide for development and in the final deployed product. There is also a wide number of choices to be made in sourcing the different software components, from commercial suppliers to free, open-source software. We will review some of these choices, looking at what options there are for creating an integrated development environment for embedded Linux. We'll look finally at the support for RISC-V architecture within Linux, in particular the PolarFire family of SoC FPGAs from Microchip, a supported ecosystem of devices that can run Linux.
Simon Goda is a Senior Member Technical Staff and Linux expert. Simon will present this training webinar, which will consist of a one-hour session, and will be interactive with Q&A participation from attendees.
