Doulos Add Support for SystemC Verification Library (SCV) to SystemC Portfolio

May 2003|Press release

Doulos, the European based independent methodology training company and first choice for SystemCTM training for more than 40 companies, has announced an addition to it’s SystemC training portfolio.

Verification Using SCV is a dedicated 2-day module teaching engineers from hardware, systems and software backgrounds how to use the SystemC Verification Library (SCV) to verify designs at a higher level of abstraction. The introduction of this latest onsite course option gives Doulos the most comprehensive SystemC training portfolio available. The SystemC Verification Library (SCV) extends the SystemC language to enable testbench automation using a constrained random verification methodology.

Verification Using SCV joins 3 other distinct modules within the Doulos SystemC portfolio and is a follow-on course from the proven Doulos course, Fundamentals of SystemC, which has now been delivered to groups from over 40 companies. The new course covers topics such as: the constrained random approach to verification; SCV class libraries; using SCV to debug and validate models; and how best to exploit SCV and transaction level modelling. As with all Doulos SystemC classes, supporting course materials include the invaluable SystemC Golden Reference Guide (ISBN 0-9537280-2-1) and detailed course notes.

Rob Hurley, Business Manager for Doulos, said, ‘The release of this new course in the all-important verification space demonstrates our commitment to deliver independent training with full vendor support in the SystemC domain.’
