Webinar Overview:

In this webinar we will investigate how the Yocto build environment provides the initial components to successfully boot a Linux system and how it can be modified to manage challenging requirements in your projects.

Topics:

  • The base components provided by the core build system
  • Customizations provided Yocto layers
  • Maintaining compatibility using tools such as repotool or kas
  • Configuring the capabilities of the core build system with multiple, interdependent software layers

As an example, we will explore the *meta-real-time-edge* layer from NXP and illustrate how it can generate all the software layers typically required by advanced heterogeneous applications.
