May 2003|Press release
Doulos, Europe's leading independent methodology training company, has announced the availability of both training and reference support for engineers evaluating SystemVerilog 3.1.
The twin track support from Doulos includes the first practical user guide for SystemVerilog 3.1 in the form of the latest in the Golden Reference Guide series; plus an intensive one-day training course introducing engineers to Version 3.1 of SystemVerilog. Both have been developed by the respected Doulos team, known across Europe for its independent perspective on leading-edge methods and its expertise in knowledge transfer.
Dennis Brophy, Chairman of Accellera, said “SystemVerilog represents the next generation of evolution to the Verilog language. As it is enhanced to support system design and advances in verification, it is important that the trusted and recognised experts in training and education offer courses and reference material for the engineering community.”
The Doulos SystemVerilog GRG will be the first published practical user guide for SystemVerilog v3.1. Rob Hurley, Business Manager for Doulos, comments, “Judging by the widespread demand for the SystemVerilog v3.0 edition of the Golden Reference Guide released earlier this year, it was clear that many companies world-wide would want to take an early opportunity to appraise the wider features of SystemVerilog v3.1. For that reason our people have worked hard to get this new edition of the guide to press on such an early timeframe. Alongside our training class for SystemVerilog it will assist evaluators to make an objective assessment of the impact and potential application of the language as it develops.“
The training class Introduction to SystemVerilog is available for onsite delivery world-wide from July, and includes the SystemVerilog Golden Reference Guide in the comprehensive course materials. Go to www.doulos.com to view the full course description.
Pre-publication copies of the upcoming v3.1 edition of the SystemVerilog Golden Reference Guide (ISBN 0-9537280-6-4) are available at DAC and can be viewed at the Doulos booth, number 2301. For further information about the complete range of Golden Reference Guides click here.
