January 2022|Press release
The full complement of primary courses in the Doulos training portfolio is now permanently available in a Live Online training format; with each course scheduled to run on a two month rotation.
The exceptional commitment from the Doulos team to develop and maintain our Live Online Training ensures all elements of the learning dynamic can be accessed by remote delegates; especially the essential training component of performing practical labs with full access to instructor support.

Customers, that were previously sceptical about the learning outcomes from live online training as compared with in-person classes, have engaged and reported strong satisfaction with the live online format and learning experience.
Many are now expressing preference for this format because of the outcomes experienced; coupled with the saving on travel time and cost and the benefit of blending daily work commitments with the part-day online session schedule.
This includes many customers with the requirement to train their teams for imminent or emerging projects. Rather than delay until in-person onsite training is possible with the resultant impact on project deadlines, Doulos bespoke Live Online training programs have got teams up and ready for project engagement even during recent periods of complete lockdown.
"BY FAR the best online training I have ever attended... the trainer was experienced, comfortable and interesting (even on an audio link). The tools were easy and effective to use, and the remote desktop worked great. I attended the sessions via a 3G access point on my phone, and had no bandwith problems." Avnet FAE course attendee

With recovery phases evolving at different rates geographically, as a global business we recognise that our customers are now at different stages with respect to requirements that impact the work environment. This may mean that some can now consider hosting training for their teams within their own training facilities; whereas others cannot.
At all times, the health and well-being of Doulos staff, partners and customers remain our priority. It is our commitment that we will continue to adapt and operate our service provision in accordance with official regulations and guidance in place in each region at any point in time.
Reflecting the phased approach that most countries are taking to reduce restrictions on travel and social interaction, Doulos has initiated a staged and cautious return to the provision of In-Person training that will adapt to the local and regional context prevailing at any specific time.
At the current time, alongside the Live Online format option which is available for all contexts, we are now able to consider In-Person team training at your location where and when socially distanced working is permitted. As soon as you consider that you are able to proceed safely within the scope of local regulations and guidance; Doulos is ready to work with you to ensure service provision can proceed with full consideration for the well-being of all involved.
To support this, we have established a set of criteria and requirements to establish confidence for you, your team, our technical staff and our certified instructors. These requirements will be reviewed with you fully and agreed at an early stage in the course booking process.
Starting in February, a limited schedule of In-Person courses has been published to run at our Munich (Germany) and Ringwood (UK) training venues. An In-Person training course schedule at Doulos training locations in North America remains under review at this time.
For Munich and Ringwood, local risk assessments have determined a limit on the number of delegates for each of these courses to ensure safe distancing can be maintained within the facility alongside other Health & Safety measures. These measures will be shared and agreed with each delegate as part of the booking process.
The In-Person training schedule for Europe »
For any scheduled In-Person course, local regulations and guidance will be kept under constant review. In the event that current restrictions prevailing at the time prevent an In-Person course proceeding, booked delegates with confirmed places will be able to transfer without penalty to a Live Online Training course which is scheduled in close date alignment; or receive a voucher valid for up to 2 years applicable for attendance with any comparable Doulos course.
